该传言来自著名游戏网站IGN 新闻稿件，据说任天堂可能会在E3大会上发布他们的新版NDS 主机。新主机将取消现有的GBA 卡槽改为其他感应器，并且在价格上将低于100美元(学习苹果3G精神哇)。来源IGN

传闻称任天堂此次改变的决心or灵感源自最近发布的NDS 游戏《吉他英雄Guitar Hero》。NDS 版本的《吉他英雄》有一个BT 特点，你必须购买他们的专门的外设才能玩游戏(盗版商欲泪奔)。作为一款以创新为噱头的游戏掌机，任天堂从中又看到了新的灵感，可能开发位于GBA 插槽位置的操控按钮？！
