IQ越高，越不信神
Richard Lynn，英国阿尔斯特大学的心理学名誉教授，说据研究非常多的“知识精英”认为自己是无神论者，其人数比例高出全英国的平均水平。
他声称，上个世纪，如同人们的平均文化水平的提高一样，对宗教的信奉率却在降低。
该结论发表在一学术期刊的论文中，批评者认为该结论有“简单化”的嫌疑。

从心理学而言，，“神”的存在，，不过是人类的一种自我安慰罢了——究竟是否真的存在，，对于有神论者来说并非最重要的问题，，重要的是他们的“神”有没有解决他们的问题，，有没有让他们心理好受点就是了。。
