自然界中没有什么景象能与火山爆发媲美。

普通的火山爆发大多数人也见怪不怪了，但是这次位于智利南部的一座“Chaiten”的火山的喷发壮观到无以复加。
大量有毒的粉尘喷射向天空，使得空气离子化，产生巨大的电流。当这些有毒的粉尘形成的羽状物从火山口喷出的时候，周围被闪电包绕，并产生极大的能量，似乎空气都会燃烧起来。

一个当地居民在被火山灰笼罩的小镇上骑行
